22 Days of Prayer

Hello SCC Family,

We would like to invite you to partner with us in prayer as we seek the Lord’s guidance leading up to the 2025 Canadian election.

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

We invite you to join us—either in person or online (details below)—as we seek God’s will for us and for our nation. We are living in a time of many distractions and uncertainties, yet as believers in Christ, we carry the light of the world where true hope is found. Beginning Monday, April 7, and continuing up to Election Day on April 28, we will gather daily to pray for Canada.

During these gatherings, we will not be praying for any specific political party. Instead, guided by Romans 13:1 (ESV)—“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God”—we will pray for our nation as a whole. You are welcome to join in person or online each evening, or you may prefer to pray from home if that’s more convenient.

• Zoom Meetings: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM on Tuesday and Sunday evenings

• Centre 150 Meetings: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM Monday through Saturday (weather permitting) If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will meet on Zoom (use the same link above).
