Can you really come as you are?

Jesus has already made the way open

Hey there SCC Family !

Welcome to The Bridge Weekly Vol 3. Issue 15!
You know that moment when you close a tab and tell yourself, “I’ll come back to that”… and then quietly hope it just sorts itself out? Some things have a way of sticking around, even when we try to move past them.

Jesus meets us in those places and opens a way to come close with nothing to hide. Take a moment this week to draw near and let Him meet you as you are.

Take a few minutes to revisit Sunday and let it settle a little deeper.

This Sunday, Joel will lead us through Hebrews 11–12:3, inviting us to see faith as steady endurance shaped by trust. Jesus runs ahead of us, and we keep moving forward with Him, one step at a time.

The Watoto Children’s Choir will be with us on April 30, sharing songs from Better Days — There Is Hope. We’re still looking for 4 more host homes for that evening, each hosting two children and one chaperone. Hebrews 10 invites us to encourage one another and help each other keep going, and opening your home is a simple way to live that out.

If you can help, email [email protected].

Freedom Feast is happening April 25 at 5 pm. As Hebrews 10 invites us to gather, encourage one another, and stay connected, this is a simple way to live that out together. Sign up and bring something to share.

Caroline Martin took care of setting up the communion tables for Easter. It was one of those details that quietly helped everything come together, and she made sure it was ready. We’re thankful for the way she stepped in and served.

There’s room for you here. Take a few minutes to look around our website, see what’s coming up, find a group to connect with, or step into a team when you’re ready. We’d love to walk this out with you.

Why did Jesus give Himself? It comes back to love. A steady love that moves toward us, meets us in what feels hidden, and opens the way for us to come close again. As you go through your week, bring what is real and take a simple step toward Him.

It means a lot to walk this journey together as we keep our eyes on Jesus.

P.S. Even a small step toward Jesus matters this week.

If this email has been meaningful to you, feel free to share it with a friend. It’s one simple way to stay connected and invite others in.
