Help Us Raise Up the Next Generation of Ministry Leaders

Big impact starts small. Support our summer intern and sow into what’s next.

Dear SCC Family,

At Summerside Community Church, we’re passionate about seeing young people discover God’s purpose for their lives—and one of the ways we do that is by giving them real, hands-on opportunities to grow in ministry.

This summer, we’re excited to bring back our Summer Student Intern Program—and we need your help to make it happen!

We’re looking to raise $4,000 to hire a high school or university-age student to serve alongside our team. Like in past years, every gift helps, and pledges are welcome! You can pledge an amount now and give any time between now and the end of July—whether all at once or bit by bit, it’s completely flexible.

Our Summer Intern will be involved in:

  • Helping with Sunday services

  • Supporting kids and youth ministry

  • Creating content for social media

  • Welcoming guests

  • Assisting with behind-the-scenes facility care

These internships have been a launchpad for many of our young people—like Colby Lidstone (Youth Pastor), Jazmyn Gallant (heading to YWAM Niagara), Faith Shea (pursuing Nursing), and Isaac Gillis (heading to YWAM Finland in August). Your support helped shape their journey, and we want to offer that same opportunity again this year.

Here’s how you can help:

1. Decide on an Amount: Prayerfully consider what you can give.
2. Make Your Pledge: Email us at [email protected] by June 30 with “yes” and your pledged amount.
3. Fulfill Your Pledge: Complete your donation by the end of July.
4. Give Your Gift: Donations can be made by cash, cheque, eTransfer (label it “summer student”), or through Nucleus Giving.

Your generosity helps shape the future of ministry in our community. By investing in our youth today, you’re planting seeds that will bear fruit for years to come.

Let’s step out in faith together and raise up the next generation of leaders.

Thank you for being a church that believes in young people.

Blessings of joy,
Tracy
