Our Condolences

On behalf of our SCC family, we express our deepest condolences to Jodie Long and his family as they mourn the passing of his father, John “Bonner” Theodore Long. Bonner passed away on Monday, December 30th.

Bonner was a man who lived with unwavering faith and love for his family. A dedicated servant of God, missionary, fisherman, hunter, and author, he made a lasting impact on those around him. To Jodie, Bonner was not only a father but also a hero, teacher, and lifelong friend. His love for Jesus and his family was evident in everything he did, and his kindness touched everyone he encountered.

Let’s continue to pray for Jodie, Lori, and all of Bonner’s loved ones as they navigate this difficult time. May they find comfort in knowing Bonner is now at peace in his heavenly home.
