Our Condolences

On behalf of our SCC family, I would like to express our deepest condolences to Nancy and Don MacDonald and their family as they mourn Nancy’s father's passing, John Joseph “Urie” Blacquiere. Urie passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Urie was a man of unwavering faith and love for his family. He was a dedicated servant of God, a man of integrity, and a hard worker. He is walking on the streets of gold now. To Nancy, Urie was not only a father but also a hero, teacher, and lifelong friend. His love for Jesus and his family was evident in everything he did, and his kindness touched everyone he encountered

Let’s continue to pray for Nancy, Don, and all of Urie’s loved ones as they navigate this difficult time. May they find comfort in knowing Urie is now at peace in his heavenly home..
