Partnering with God’s Kingdom Work in Year-End Giving

Dear SCC Family,

As we approach the close of another year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the goodness of God and His faithfulness. Through your generosity and prayers, we’ve seen lives transformed, relationships deepened, and the love of Jesus shared in tangible ways.

As you prayerfully consider your end-of-year giving, we invite you to keep your eyes on God’s Kingdom and the good things He is doing. At Summerside Community Church, we hold to the values of Encounter, Discipleship, and Relational Mission—helping others encounter Jesus, grow as His disciples, and share His love in every corner of our world. God has so much more for us, and we are privileged to partner with Him to see things made new—within us, through us, and around us.

Did You Know?

• Your Giving Multiplies: Our church’s mission is funded entirely by the generosity of people like you. Your gifts allow us to serve our community, support global missions, and make a lasting impact for God’s Kingdom.

• Tax Refunds Maximize Giving: Did you know that our current tax system provides a significant benefit for charitable giving? When you give to a registered charity or non-profit like Summerside Community Church, a percentage of your donation is returned to you as a tax credit. This allows you to steward your resources wisely, and gives you another opportunity to invest into Kingdom work if you receive a refund.

• An Example of Stewardship: For every $100 you give, you could receive approximately $25-$50 back, depending on your income and province. That means your generosity continues to create ripple effects as you reinvest those resources into God’s mission.

How to Partner in Year-End Giving

1. Pray – Ask God to show you how He is inviting you to partner in His work.

3. Rejoice – Celebrate the opportunity to participate in what God is doing to bring renewal and transformation.
