Small Yes. Big Faith.

What happens when we respond to His voice

Hey there SCC Family !

Welcome to The Bridge Weekly Vol 3. Issue 17!
If life came with clear directions, most of us would still skip ahead to the end. Jesus invites us into something different, walking with Him one step at a time as we learn to hear His voice.

Hebrews points us to Jesus, the one who listened, trusted, and walked closely with the Father in every season. Keep your eyes on Him this week. Stay close, listen, and take the next step He places in front of you.

Take a few minutes this week to revisit Faith From the Father and let it settle into your everyday life. The blog and podcast both create space to keep listening and walking with Jesus between Sundays.

This Sunday, Tracy continues in Hebrews 12:4–29, guiding us into A Kingdom That Cannot Be Shaken. As life feels unsettled at times, we are reminded that God is at work, shaping what will last and drawing us into a steady, unshakable Kingdom.

The Watoto Children’s Choir will be with us on April 30, sharing songs from Better Days — There Is Hope. We’re still looking for more host homes for that evening, each hosting two children and one chaperone. Hebrews 10 invites us to encourage one another and help each other keep going, and opening your home is a simple way to live that out.

We’re creating space to celebrate one another as a church family, holding both the big moments and the small ones. Birthdays give us a simple way to pause and say, we’re grateful you are here. You can add your birthday to the jar at the Hub or click the button to email the office so we can celebrate with you in the months ahead.

Donna Lee McCormack is someone who treasures her family, with two children, five grandchildren, and two step grandchildren who mean so much to her. She finds joy in simple moments like playing guitar, heading out to camp, or sitting down for coffee and a good conversation. There is a warmth in the way she connects with people and a willingness to be present when it matters. While she may look in her 60s, her heart still feels young and full of life.

We love you for who you are. We’re thankful you’re part of this family.

There’s room for you here. Take a few minutes to look around our website, see what’s coming up, find a group to connect with, or step into a team when you’re ready. We’d love to walk this out with you.

Hebrews reminds us that we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. As life shifts and changes around us, Jesus remains steady and near. Take a moment this week to rest in that truth and let it shape how you move through each day.

It means a lot to walk this journey together as we keep our eyes on Jesus.

P.S. Look for one small place to say yes to Jesus this week.
