Standing Where It’s Steady
Peace, clarity, and trust begin with Jesus.

Hey there SCC Family !
Welcome to The Bridge Weekly Vol 3. Issue 26!
A distracted world makes a steady heart stand out.
On Sunday we were reminded that Jesus offers a steady place to stand when life feels noisy and uncertain. As we learn to abide in Him, Holy Spirit continues to shape lives marked by peace, clarity, and trust. His Kingdom cannot be shaken, and His presence anchors us through every season.
Take a deeper look at this week’s conversation through the blog and Between the Shores podcast. Both explore how Jesus steadies our lives and how Holy Spirit continues to shape us from the inside out.

Change is part of following Jesus. Our Holy Spirit series continues as Andrew explores one of the most significant moments in the life of the early church. As God welcomed people in unexpected ways, His people learned to follow His leading with open hearts, a lesson that still speaks to us today.

Camp of Champions is almost here! Kids ages 5 to 12 are invited to three fun evenings of sports, music, crafts, games, learning, and snacks with our Praying Pelican Missions team. Registration is free, and you can sign up using the button below.

There’s still one more week to be part of our June Missions Giving. So far, we’ve raised $2,640.75 toward supporting the YWAM mission team who are going to Niagara in August. Thank you for your generosity as we continue investing in what God is doing around the world.

Daryl and Marthann Roque have shared 34 years of marriage, laughter, adventure, and many meaningful moments with God along the way. They enjoy road trips, gardening, fishing, staying active, and spending time together. As they prepare for a new chapter closer to their children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter, they carry many treasured memories from their years on PEI. Their steady faith, generous hearts, and care for others have been a gift to our church family. We love you both, and we’re so thankful you’ve been part of our story.
We love you for who you are. We’re thankful you’re part of this family.

There’s room to take your next step at SCC. Explore what’s coming up, find a place to connect, or join a team as you’re ready. We’d love to help you find your place in the life of our church.
Holy Spirit isn’t asking us to rush ahead or have everything figured out.
He simply invites us to keep our eyes on Jesus and trust His leading one step at a time. As you move through the week, make room to listen, respond, and discover the steady peace that grows in His presence.
Thanks for being part of this church family. It’s a gift to keep learning to follow Jesus together.

P.S. Holy Spirit, keep leading us one step at a time.
