A door left open changes how you approach it. Something in you begins to move forward with ease. Hebrews draws us into that kind of confidence. Jesus, our faithful High Priest, welcomes us near, and through the cross He has made the way open.

This Sunday is Easter, and Joel leads us through Hebrews 7–8 as we look at Jesus as our High Priest and the better covenant He brings. In His resurrection, a new way is opened and a life begins within us.

This past Sunday, we celebrated with Amanda Ferrish, David Woodcox, Mitch Gaudet, Darcy Hambly, and Ben Bernard as they were baptized. Buried with Christ and raised to new life in Him. Take a moment to watch and celebrate with them.

The Watoto Children’s Choir will be with us on April 30, with a free will offering available. We are looking for 7 more host homes. Email the office if you would like to help.

During March Missions Giving Month, a total of $4,140 was given toward Open Door Outreach. Thank you for the way you continue to care for our community with generosity and faith

We move toward the cross with quiet attention. Take a moment this week to be with Jesus, to remember His love, and to stay near as we walk toward Easter.

Susan Gower serves in many quiet and meaningful ways, from preparing communion and greeting at the door to helping with Loaves and Fishes and supporting events as needed. She carries a steady willingness to step in and serve, and her presence is felt in so many parts of our church life.

If you’re sensing a desire to step in, serving on a team is a meaningful place to begin. We would be glad to help you find a place that fits.
