SCC Weekly Updates

JOIN US THIS WEEKEND!

We look forward to being together on Sunday! Every Sunday is a little different and this week we look forward to engaging in worship with our New Wine Worship team, sharing Communion together and engaging in a message from our teaching team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Our service begins at 10:00 am. Pre-Service Prayer for the service is open to anyone who would like to attend. Join us from 9:30 - 9:50 am on Sundays.

If you or someone in your family is not feeling well, we encourage you to join us on Facebook or YouTube by using the links below.

We welcome you to our Sunday Celebration In-Person at Centre 150.

This coming Sunday, July 23, we will be completing our teaching series on the Beatitudes with a Question & Response time.

As you have been thinking about and reflecting on Jesus' teaching on the Kingdom of God, we recognize that you have questions and personal reflections and we would love to explore those further with you. We will take some questions on Sunday but we would like to hear in advance to see what types of questions or comments you have. Remember that our questions not only help us learn but they also help others! We are looking forward to a great dialogue on Sunday.

Please submit questions directly to Tracy through the button below before Sunday.

PRAYER AND WORSHIP

Centre 150 is open Thursdays, from 9:00-12:00 pm as a special space for spending time with the Lord. From 9:00-10:00 am we will have a time of interactive prayer and live worship. From 10:00 - Noon we will have music only.

Isaac's Weekly Highlights!

Isaac's first week as our summer intern was quite eventful! He began with orientation and had the opportunity to connect with various mentors from the church. This week, he worked closely with Andrew Bryce and Merton Smith, engaging in a combination of personal and practical ministry tasks. By the end of the week, we couldn't help but notice how beautifully shiny our windows have become, all thanks to Isaac's hard work!

Isaac is also preparing for next Sunday's BBQ event, and he's looking forward to receiving all of your help to ensure its success!

PRAYER

We are a praying and generous church.

Thank you for actively loving your neighbour as yourself.

On Monday, June 26, Pastor Freddy suffered injuries after falling off a roof, resulting in broken/shattered ribs. We ask for your prayers for his healing and speedy recovery. It typically takes time for these types of injuries to heal, but we are seeking the Lord's intervention for a quicker healing process.
