Isaac's Weekly Highlights!

Isaac's second week as our summer intern was all about the BBQ. He worked closely with Jim Sutherland to create his weekly video, check it out below!  He also worked with Dorothy Fry to find the best prices for our bbq food; tomorrow he will go shopping with Don DesRoches to get the food.

Isaac says a big THANK YOU to everyone who is volunteering for the BBQ and he is looking forward to this being the best BBQ that SCC has ever had! Friendly Reminder: Please sign up below to let us know what food you are bringing.

Congratulations to all who were baptized last Sunday

We are so excited for all of you and we look forward to seeing you grow deeper in your love and trust in Jesus. As a praying church, lets continue to hold them in our hearts and prayers in the coming weeks.

Join us Friday, August 4 for our monthly night of worship, teaching, and connection for island women. Our heart is to encourage women in whole-hearted life with God with a focus on unity, growth, and identity in Christ.  This months we will be getting together around the bonfire pit.  To ensure your comfort, please remember to bring your own lawn chair. We can't wait to see you all there!

We look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones at our next men's breakfast on August 12th. Don't miss out on this enjoyable gathering that promises great food, friendly company, and meaningful connections.

While many groups are taking a break for the summer, we have a few groups that will continue to meet and engage during this season. Please see below for the list of groups that will continue throughout the summer.

PRAYER

We are a praying and generous church.

Thank you for actively loving your neighbour as yourself.

On Monday, June 26, Pastor Freddy suffered injuries after falling off a roof, resulting in broken/shattered ribs. We ask for your prayers for his healing and speedy recovery. It typically takes time for these types of injuries to heal, but we are seeking the Lord's intervention for a quicker healing process.
