Weekly Update Feb 1, 2024

Find rest and direction in Jesus, our Good Shepherd.

Hello,

As we move through the week, Tracy's latest discussion, "Listening & Responding: Weekly Reflections on Following The Way of Jesus," offers us a moment to pause and reflect. This week she focuses on Psalm 23:2, sharing how the shepherd's role of providing peace and care can be seen in Jesus' care for us. Tracy's personal story about her parents finding solace in Jesus during a difficult circumstance is particularly moving. Join us in this journey of trust and peace in His presence. Watch Tracy's discussion here.

This week, I encourage you to live an examined life, walking daily with the Lord, and embracing forgiveness as Jesus taught us. The Mayo Clinic now tells us what God has always been saying, forgiveness leads to healthier relationships, improved mental health, less anxiety, stress, and depression, lower blood pressure, a stronger immune system, improved heart health, and better self-esteem. Let's allow forgiveness to be part of our daily life.

P.S. As we reflect on Psalm 23:2b this week, let's remember the calm and restful guidance provided by our Good Shepherd. Let His peace fill your days.
