Let's dive into this new season with anticipation and unity! Isaac's Reflections: With summer now behind us, Isaac's video series is drawing to a close. Join him for the final installment where he shares his summer highlights, reflects on the challenges, and adds a sprinkle of humour to his one-of-a-kind journey. This is your last chance to join Isaac on his summer adventure!

Exploring the World with SCC: At SCC, we're on a mission to spread the boundless love of Jesus, not only in our community but also across borders. Our passion is witnessing God's personal touch both near and far, building our trust in His Kingdom. Join us in our exciting journey as we prepare for an upcoming mission trip with World Embrace to Gulu, Uganda, scheduled for November 2024. Dive into the details on the World Embrace website, and be sure to save the dates for our upcoming information sessions on Sunday, September 10, right after church, and Monday, September 11, from 7-8 p.m. Let's explore the incredible opportunities together!

Island Pregnancy Centre Update:

We also want to highlight the incredible work of the Island Pregnancy Centre. They provide essential support and care for mothers, fathers, and families facing pregnancy-related challenges. Learn more about their recent news and how you can get involved by visiting their website here.

Growing in Community. God's Kingdom is an adventure, and its work starts within us. We require more than Sunday mornings to grow and what the world offers or tries to convince us of is a counterfeit of what Jesus means by community. Here are 3 considerations:1. Are you in a Connect Group? Look to see what we have to offer this Sunday!2. The Kingdom Wholeness 101 Course registration is still open. Click

Weekly Reflections: In the midst of life's pressures and dashed hopes, Tracy reminds us that beauty often sneaks in unexpectedly, like hummingbirds in her backyard. Just as these tiny birds remind us of God's beauty and presence, we're encouraged to focus on God's work and trust Him, even when we can't see it clearly. So, let's stop living on rumours, allow God to work in our hearts, and embrace His kingdom. Don't forget, we're not meant to navigate this journey alone. Stay connected by tuning in to Tracy's

, where she digs into this past

and offers insights for the week ahead.

This Sunday, come together for a genuine worship experience with New Wine Worship, share in Communion, and dive into week 3 of our teaching series, "The Kingdom of God is Like..." as Josh Hoffert unpacks Jesus' lessons about God's Kingdom – a Kingdom here and now, though not yet complete. How can we connect with this Kingdom's call?

  • Pre-Service Prayer: Everyone is welcome to come and join us between 9:30 and 9:50 a.m., where we've set aside a time for prayer.

If health concerns arise, catch our service on Facebook or YouTube.

To stay up-to-date with giving updates, event details, and more, feel free to explore our website. Your active participation and ongoing support are vital in fostering a vibrant SCC community.

See you this Sunday!P.S. Embrace the unexpected beauty of life amidst its challenges. Like hummingbirds in Tracy's yard, God's presence surprises us. Trust His work, let go of rumours, and welcome His Kingdom. Remember, you're not alone in this journey.
