What’s Moving You?
Jesus invites us to listen, trust, and move with Him.

Hey there SCC Family !
Welcome to The Bridge Weekly Vol 3. Issue 28!
Rivers are meant to move. When the current slows or becomes blocked, everything downstream is affected. Our lives can drift in much the same way when our attention settles on things that quietly pull us away from Jesus.
This past Sunday, Tracy invited us into Acts 10, where Holy Spirit led Peter beyond familiar assumptions and into God’s unfolding work. This week, take a few moments to ask a simple question: What is moving me? Bring your answer to Jesus and remain close enough to follow wherever He leads.
Go a little deeper this week with the blog and Between the Shores podcast. Each one offers practical encouragement for following Jesus in the ordinary moments.

Join us this Sunday as Joel opens the book of Romans and explores God’s vision for one united family in Christ. The gospel reshapes the way we see people, leading us into lives marked by grace, humility, and love.

Friendships were formed, stories were shared, and lives were encouraged throughout the week. We’re grateful for the time they shared with us and the ways our church family made room for them. Thank you for being a church that welcomes people with open hearts.
We are so thankful for how God has brought Pastors Hector and Agnes Gonzales to Summerside. It has been a privilege for our SCC family to journey alongside them as they prepared to plant and now lead Jesus the Anointed One Church here in our city.
It is a joy to witness what God is doing through their faithful ministry in the Filipino community as they share the love of Jesus and disciple those God has entrusted to their care.
This past Sunday, JA1 celebrated its second anniversary with Bishop Doc. Jing Abate as their guest speaker. He shared how encouraged he is by the friendship and partnership between JA1 and SCC as we continue to support one another in God's work here in Summerside.
Sunday afternoon's celebration was a beautiful reminder that God is building His Church. As we move with Him, lives are transformed, communities are impacted, and His light shines into the darkness, drawing people to His beautiful love.

Julianna and Titus Stimson’s story has been shaped by faith, distance, and new beginnings. After meeting online and spending a year in a long distance relationship, they have now been happily married for almost a year and are building a home together in Summerside with their puppy, Hazel. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, catching beautiful sunsets, and heading out for an ice cream date whenever they can. You may also recognize Julianna’s work behind the camera, as many of the recent photos around SCC have been captured through her photography business. We’re thankful for the joy, creativity, and warmth they bring to our church family.
We love you for who you are. We’re thankful you’re part of this family.

Following Jesus is something we grow into together. Explore what’s happening at SCC, find a group, or discover a place to serve. We’d love to help you take your next step.
Holy Spirit is always at work, even when life feels busy or uncertain. This week, create a little margin in your day, ask Jesus what He is doing, and trust Him to lead your next step.
Thanks for being part of our church family. It’s a joy to follow Jesus together.

P.S. Keep asking, “Jesus, what are You doing?” You may be surprised where He leads.
If this email has been meaningful to you, feel free to share it with a friend. It’s one simple way to stay connected and invite others in.
